I was not aware of this yet, but the EFRA has changed the rules on how many battery cells you can use in a touring car. Acording to the latest EFRA rules you are only allowed to run a 5 cell battery pack on EFRA sanctioned 1:10th touring car events. Receiver packs are also not allowed. This might start off the development a whole lot of new cars because this makes quite a difference in packaging and allows for some different chassis lay-outs. Serpent already came out with a special chassis for 5 cell racing for their just introduced tourer (picture below). I expect a lot of brands to follow!
